Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is something we keep working at rather than a box we tick once, so this statement describes where we are and how to reach us if you hit a barrier.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
- Label every form field, including the ZIP search, and announce validation errors.
- Keep interactive controls reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Aim for text contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA against its background.
- Provide alternative text for meaningful images, including provider logos.
- Respect the operating system's "reduce motion" setting, which stops the scrolling disclosure banner.
- Build layouts that reflow to small screens and to 200% zoom without loss of content.
Known limitations
- Some provider logos are supplied as images without descriptive text from the provider; we fall back to the provider name.
- Content that comes from third-party provider data may not always follow our own formatting or plain-language standards.
- Pages that embed third-party content are only as accessible as that content.
